On Sat Feb 23rd we will have our last beginner session with a drop in pool session from 9pm-11pm. The VIMFF whitewater show is also on the 23rd starting at 2pm. My plan is to go to the whitewater show and then grab some food and drinks before the pool session, if anyone is keen to join. Our own Ray will be the MC for the evening. Our Annual General Meeting for the Vancouver Whitewater Club will be held on Wednesday Nov 21, 2018 at Big Rock Urban Brewery & Eatery. Socializing will start at 6:30pm and the meeting will start just after 7pm. The club will purchase some appetizers to share :) The address is 310 W 4th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5Y 1G9. We are always looking for volunteers to help out with planning events, managing gear and joining the executive. Our Christmas Party will be hosted by Ray and Steph on Dec 14th starting at 7pm. More details to be announced later. We will also have a couple pool sessions at Britannia pool in December. They will be on Saturday evenings (as per usual, the only time that we can rent the pool). More details later :) All of these events are very social and a great time out.

Sunshine and snowmelt! A few of us are meeting for a quick lap after work today @ Park Royal. We need to be off the water by 5:45 if anyone is keen for a slightly rushed lap.

Meeting at Park Royal for a lap at 5pm. Might be a quick lap at 3:30pm as well but we will be moving quickly to make it to the take out for the lap at 5pm.
